For large-scale projects you need a lot of base plates and this is the best and cheapest I could find other than ebay used lego by the pound by M. Cogan
It works as expected big enough for Lego Millenium Falcon. Now I have to make room to accommodate a Star Destroyer this requires 2 base plates . by Mauricio Leon Calvo
